Robert Glover Mermaids
In 1999, the designer Robert Glover decided that he wanted to bring his artistic skills to bear on a new range of collectible items -- some beautiful Reveries who had been haunting his imagination. Feb 1st 2000 Damosel the first of a wonderful line of creations was made. She was quickly followed by a full range of Fairies, Mermaids, and Mythicals.
These pieces are a personal favorite and I believe capture the beauty we had until now only imagined. Seeing in this instance is truly believing.
Sadly all production of these pieces has ceased and so stock is quite limited.

Mirari
Mirari's name means 'to wonder at' and she is indeed
a wonderful creature. She sits combing her auburn hair,
whilst hidden within the rock on which she rests are her
intricately carved looking-glass and shells.

Morvena
Morvena's name is from the Celtic and means
'a wave of the sea'. On the Silver Shore of Gramarye,
the waves rise and fall endlessly.
They bring riches and driftwood, and the wishes
and whispers of those who tell their secrets to the sea.

Melea
The meleagrina is an oyster which produces pearls, and it is from this that our graceful mermaid takes her name. Melea keeps away from humankind, searching through the Sea of Bright Waters for treasures, and singing songs that mortal ears cannot hear.

Morion
Charmed by her golden hair and beautiful green tail? You will not be the first to fall under Morion's spell. Her name means 'black quartz'. The other mermaids of the Silver Shore named her this because of the dark rock in the seas near Gramarye on which she loves to sit and play her flute.
