Welcome to Our Southwest Themed Glass Ornaments Here we have an interesting group of ornaments that deal with designs from the Southwest region of the US.From the Spanish style Mission to the Hopi Dolls each of these ornaments offers a different perspective.
I have made many enjoyable visits to the southwest and the artistic community of Taos New Mexico with its old Indian Peublo and magnificent views. At night the stars fill the sky as there is so much less light polllution there. These ornaments remind me of those pleasant times and places.

A fetish is an object, usually a carved stone, in which a spirit is thought to reside.Bear Fetishes are considered healers and provide special powerful curative abilities, a symbol of supreme power, solitude and introspection.
Our bear fetish design arose from our artists interpreting those ideas into glass. They have made them far more complex than their stone counterparts but very beautiful in such bold colors.

Look at the larger photo to see the detail of the curved gold accents. They are made of tiny gold beads rather than glitter. Make for a striking effect and accounts for the higher price
